Violence in the Workplace Training
Looking for violence in the workplace training? Our Violence in the Workplace Training has been updated to meet the Part XX of the COHS, Pamphlet 8 Standards (see below for more information). We’ve been providing violence in the workplace training solutions for individuals, safety managers, and business owners for over 15 years. This course was built by professional safety trainers to meet and exceed the safety training and compliance standards set by the Canadian regulating bodies.
Standards Covered in this Training:
As standards change we update our training so you always know you are up to date on current standards.
- Part XX of the COHS, Pamphlet 8 – Employers must take measures to prevent the occurrence of violence in the work place and to ensure that employees are protected against work place violence and have recourse should they be subjected to it.
Part XX of the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations – Violence Prevention in the Work Place gives steps employers must implement in order to protect their employees against violence in the workplace, and ensure they have recourse if they are subjected to violence. Employers who do not take steps to prevent or abate a recognized violence hazard in the workplace can be cited.
Because of these requirements, employers have a legal and ethical obligation to develop and maintain a workplace that is free from hazards associated with violence in the workplace. Employees have the right to work in an atmosphere that promotes the safety and well-being of all.
