Training Kit


The kit is for those who want to do the training themselves. It’s a reusable training presentation that is used to train groups of people all at one time in one location. The PowerPoint, Exams, Keys, Certificates, and more are included. If you need to train a trainer to use the kit we offer a train the trainer online course.

Train The Trainer


The train the trainer option is used to certify a trainer to teach others using the included training kit. It incorporates the online course with an additional train the trainer module, as well as the training kit. This option results in an OSHA compliant lifetime trainer certification from Hard Hat Training.

  • Part XX of the COHS, Pamphlet 8 – Employers must take measures to prevent the occurrence of violence in the work place and to ensure that employees are protected against work place violence and have recourse should they be subjected to it.  

Why Training?

Part XX of the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations – Violence Prevention in the Work Place gives steps employers must implement in order to protect their employees against violence in the workplace, and ensure they have recourse if they are subjected to violence. Employers who do not take steps to prevent or abate a recognized violence hazard in the workplace can be cited.

Because of these requirements, employers have a legal and ethical obligation to develop and maintain a workplace that is free from hazards associated with violence in the workplace. Employees have the right to work in an atmosphere that promotes the safety and well-being of all.
